History of Bridle Brook Farms

Bridle Brook Farms  is a established neighborhood in Pike Road that’s zoned for the new Pike Road school system. It’s located ½ mile past of the intersection of Vaughn and Pike Roads on the left.  There is a second entrance to the neighborhood approximately ½ mile further down Vaughn Rd on the left.

This neighborhood is over 20 years old and has around 500 homes.  With that being said, there are still a few new homes being built in Bridle Brook.  The neighborhood has new homes as well as homes from the early 90’s.  The homes are reasonably priced, especially for the Pike Road Area.  Home prices range from the $130k range to around 200k.  Many of the homes sit on generous sized lots great for families with children.

Bridle Brook residents enjoy amenities such as a swimming pool, kiddie pool, softball field, stocked fishing pond, tennis court, playground and lighted streets.  The neighborhood does not have sidewalks but it still a walkable neighborhood.

Bridle Brook consists of almost exclusively 3 and 4 bedroom homes that are 1 story.  Most homes range from around 1400 square feet to around 2200 square feet.  There are an abundance of mature trees in the neighborhood providing residents with a country feel while being conveniently located about 7 minutes from Eastchase mall.

Pike Road continues to be a popular living destination with the upcoming  Pike Road school system.

The new k-12 school is expected to open the first phase of its K-8 facility in 2015.  All residents of Pike Road will be zoned for this new school.
